Ads that never interrupt playback
A banner sits on list screens. There is nothing on the now-playing screen, nothing in the car, and nothing inside or around an episode's audio — ever. Ads are not personalised: what you subscribe to and what you listen to are never used to choose one, and never sent to the ad network. That is written down in the privacy policy, which is the version that counts.
